The President of the Jubaland State, H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, today attended the exhibition of a modern boat manufactured by Sommarine Limited, a company specialized in marine equipment production in Kismayo, Jubaland, Somalia.
This boat, which is the first of its kind to be produced within the country, is expected to operate along the coasts of Jubaland, where it will play a significant role in advancing the fisheries sector and strengthening the blue economy.
The President commended Sommarine Limited, praising the company’s efforts and craftsmanship in promoting local production, and encouraged other investors to take advantage of the vast opportunities available in the marine resources of Jubaland.
