Jubaland President Signs Tourism Policy and Hospital Cost-Recovery Policy

The President of the Jubaland State Government, H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, today signed the Jubaland Tourism Policy, which was prepared by the Ministry of Information, Tourism, and Public Awareness. The purpose of this policy is to promote tourism development, strengthen the economy, create employment opportunities, and showcase Jubaland’s natural resources and historical sites.

The President also signed the Hospital Cost-Recovery Policy for Regional and District Hospitals of the Jubaland State Government, submitted by the Ministry of Health and Social Care. This policy focuses on strengthening health services, improving the quality of care, and ensuring that health facilities have the financial capacity to sustain the services they provide to the community.

These two policies reflect the continued efforts of the Jubaland State Government to improve basic services, enhance economic development, and promote the well-being of the community.
