President Ahmed Mohamed Islam Chairs Jubaland Cabinet Meeting

First, the Ministry of Security briefed the Council on the overall security situation in Jubaland, particularly in Gedo Region, and the ongoing efforts being carried out by the security agencies.

The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation also briefed the Council on the new legal framework guiding the transport sector, which aims to improve the transport system, ensure public safety, and enhance transport services across Jubaland areas.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education, Heritage, and Higher Education of the Jubaland State shared with the Council a report on the preparations and smooth progress of the government examinations, as well as scholarship opportunities prepared for students from Jubaland.

The Ministry of Health and Social Care also briefed the Council of Ministers on the general health situation in Jubaland areas, the health services being delivered to the community, and efforts to strengthen the quality of healthcare services.

Finally, the Ministry of Youth and Sports reported on the progress of preparations for the upcoming Jubaland First Division games.
