Kismaayo, 21 December 2025 – The President of the Jubaland State, H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, has stated that all resolutions and decisions adopted at the National Consultation Conference of the Somali Future Council will be fully implemented. The conference was successfully concluded today in Kismaayo City.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the conference, the President emphasized that the agreements and resolutions reached will serve as a foundation for strengthening national consultations, reinforcing the unity of the Somali people, and guiding the country’s future political direction.
The President further underlined that the Jubaland State Government remains consistently ready to host and facilitate national dialogue forums aimed at addressing issues related to the country’s destiny, unity, and development. He stressed the importance of resolving existing political challenges through dialogue and mutual understanding.
Finally, H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Islam expressed his appreciation to all participants for their role in ensuring the success of the conference, affirming that the outcomes of the meeting reflect the collective will and common interests of the Somali people.
