President of Jubaland Receives AFRICOM Special Operations Commander to Strengthen Security Cooperation

The President of the Jubaland State, H.E. Ahmed Mohamed Islam, today received the Commander of Special Operations for AFRICOM, Maj. Gen. Claude K. Tudor Jr., and the delegation he led during an official visit to Jubaland.

The meeting focused on strengthening security cooperation, accelerating joint efforts in the fight against Khawaarij, and supporting operations aimed at ensuring stability in the areas of Jubaland.

The Commander commended the recent operations jointly carried out by the Jubaland forces and the Danab Commandos unit operating in Jubaland, which successfully defeated the Khawaarij and achieved effective results.

The President was accompanied at the meeting by the Minister of Internal Security, H.E. Yusuf Hussein Osman.
